Terms & Conditions

Section 1: Customer Cancellations

• More than 48 hours before the tour starts = Full refund
• Less than 48 hours notice from the tour starting = 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours notice from the tour starting = No refund
• No shows = No refund

Section 2: Tours Cancelled by Adventure By Nature

Adventure By Nature reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify any tour due to, but not limited to, guide availability, unfavourable weather, or other operational reasons.

• Cancellations made by Adventure By Nature will receive a full refund of the tour fees.
• Adventure By Nature assumes no responsibility for any additional costs incurred due to a tour being cancelled.
• We highly recommend you have Travel Insurance.

Section 4: Shore Excursions – No port, no pay policy

• If your ship is unable to port due to weather, mechanical issues, or other reasons beyond your control, you will receive a 100% refund.
• If your ship is in port for less time than expected due to delays, changes in the cruise schedule, or other circumstances beyond your control, we reserve the right to adjust the itinerary.
• This policy does not apply to customers who book a shore excursion that does not arrive at the port of Lyttelton on a cruise ship.

Section 5: Personal Property 

• Adventure By Nature does not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal property while undertaking a tour.

Section 6: Third Party Providers

In the event that a service or activity is provided by a third-party provider, the Terms and Conditions of that provider shall apply to the respective service or portion of the booking.

Section 7: Photo and Video Consent

By participating in our tours or activities, you consent to Adventure By Nature taking and using photos and video that may include you and your party. These images and videos may be used for marketing and promotional materials across all media platforms without any time restrictions. You will not receive any compensation. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact us via email or at the provided address. While this will prevent any future use, it may not remove existing materials.
